Nike sponsorship, here I come.

I'm not thinking about making the team. I'm thinking about GOLD in Houston.

I'm also thinking the elevation chart looks mighty tempting. http://www.chevronhoustonmarathon.com/marathoninfo/marcourse1a0b.htm

I'm also thinking I should have picked a better layout. No worries, I'll get the hang of this blog thing sooner than I'll be able to run well.

Latest training run: 3 miles, 35 minutes. Yeah, that's right. I'm a beast.

flat is nice. downhill (austin) is fast, but very tough on the feet, quads, glutes, hips... and the rest of the legs.

also, for fun, play around with the format until you get (1) the words below the picture and (2) the link to show up in the word "elevation chart". then your blogging powers will match, but soon be dwarfed by, emma's dark force powers.

I finally caught up on our email chain. How often do you check your email during the day?! (Don't answer that Tig.)
1. Yeah, Wes! I'm glad I'll have a competitor- you're going down!
2. Jen will be a great Madame Supreme Chancellor aka "MSC Strange"!
3. Good job jack-nut, the pre-pre season predictions sounds pretty good. My goal is to finish the race, which by their standards would be under 6 hours.
4. The Mrs. Denisons are so going to win! I'm hungry for steak!
5. Tig is making up a spreadsheet to track our training (boy is he a geek, but he's gonna be soooo fine when I get him trained!)

Tig's spreadsheet is an interesting idea. Those that are technologically geekier than I (Tigger, Micah, Western), is there a way we can keep an updatable training spreadsheet on this thing?

Speaking of Nike sponsorship, does anyone else have Nike Plus (the chip that links to your iPod when you run)? We could do all of the training tracking there.

I really need to quit thinking about this so much now. I am a complete loser.

I'm not entirely sure how but I am sure it can be done Jlowe--however I don't even own an i-pod much less any chips for i-pods. Perhaps I will invest in one if we deem it necessary. My technical skills as far as web posting are limited at best. I can't figure out how to actually get my pic to stay in --it rejects my html tag so here's the website to how I plan to motivate myself:
